Uncovering the Vines

With the return of milder temperatures, the vine gradually resumes its vegetative activity. April is a particularly important month for supporting this restart while preserving the natural balance of each parcel.

Following the work carried out this winter through sheep grazing, Guillaume and Nathan are currently uncovering the vine bases. This operation consists of gently removing the soil accumulated around the foot of each vine to aerate the trunk area, encourage the soil to warm up and prepare for the season's mechanical work.

This work also allows us to check the health of the vines after winter and observe the vigor of the new vegetative growth.
